Hello everyone!
It's been a long while since I've updated this journal. A lot of fun and interesting things have passed since my last journal, and even though I've been around for all of them, I feel almost non-existent. I don't understand how some of the artists on this site can update so often. Like, every-other-day often.
Anyway, with as much that has changed, the fact that I'm still terribly broke and raking under the couch cushions for spare dimes and nickels hasn't changed. Not one sad bit. I don't want to throw some sad sob story at anyone; I'm not dying of cancer and in dept from hospital bills, but I am struggling to save up for a year abroad to study in Australia, something that I've always wanted to do. With our economic situation, it is very hard to pick up any jobs and salary increase is out of the question. In truth, I expect many others to be on a similarly tight financial budget and not be able to afford commissions.
Because of this, I'm opening up the shop again at $10 a commision. Last time I only took on two clients, and I realize that I'm not the most convenient artist to be hired for commissions - my style is all over the map and I tend to stay away from too much fan art. Even so, I'd like to just post this journal letting the masses know that my shop is open for business.
Below is the tacky chart of you can refer to for all your questions. If I haven't answered something, feel free to note or message me. I'm on often.
ONLY $10
Commissions are open at a special price of only $10 a piece. Or $6 for lineart.
ONLY $6
Lineart is only $6. :)
Contact:
To contact me, either send me a message here at sheezyart, or send me a note on my deviantart account (parcel-sisters.deviantart.com).
You can also email me at: dragnsylph(at)aol(dot)com
Payment:
I accept Paypal and checks in the mail. I personally prefer Paypal because it is easier and quicker. Checks are fine, but you'll have to wait for it to reach me before I can give you your completed commission.
I've had bad experiences with cash, so sorry, no cash! (Unless you're, like, my neighbor or something, then just hand it to me.)
Method:
The way this works is simple and generally used everywhere else. You send me a message with the request for a commission, and I'll reply if there is a spot open or not. If there is, you send me all the information I need to get started. Once I have a general sketch complete, I show you personally how it looks thus far. You get to tell me what you want changed or what looks odd and I then fix it. When you are satisfied with the direction the sketch is going in, you send me the payment. As soon as the payment is received by me, I finish the commission as soon as I can, then send it to you when all shiny and sparkly in it's finished glory.
Simple, right?

This is like, but not limited to what you can get for $10:

(But definitely cleaner!!)
**** If you want a more intricate type of commission, say so in your message. Chances are that if you ask for something really detailed/ extravagant, it'll be more expensive than $10 (but I'll probably go really easy on you)****
What to commission... what not to:
I'll draw almost anything you want: anthros, animals, human characters, fantasy creatures, anime, environments, etc.
I will NOT draw porn.
